Employment Program Expands
We’re excited to share that our PASS Employment Program has formed new partnerships, providing even more opportunities for our members to gain valuable work experience!
Our members are now volunteering at two wonderful new locations: Sunflower Florist and Book'mark, the store at the Central Branch of the Vancouver Public Library (VPL).
At Book'mark, our members are joining the team to assist with the monthly sidewalk sales, where they sell books and CDs to the public. They are also helping to promote our Marketplace by showcasing our custom gifts, including candles, magnets, and cards, which are now available for purchase at the store. If you’re in the area, be sure to stop by and support our members as they volunteer with enthusiasm and dedication!
Meanwhile, at Sunflower Florist, our members are gaining hands-on experience in organizing storage and assisting with plants. It’s a fantastic opportunity for them to develop new skills in a creative, vibrant environment.
We’re incredibly proud of our members and the valuable work they’re doing at these new volunteer placements. These partnerships provide meaningful connections, help build confidence, and give our members a chance to showcase their talents in the community.
