Meet Joseph, a young man who finds pure joy in work and physical activity (best if combined). While he's capable of tackling any task, he has a particular fondness for sweeping, cleaning, and organizing. Not only does Joseph excel in these areas, but he also takes immense pride and satisfaction in ensuring that every task is performed flawlessly, with results that speak for themselves.
Got a heavy box that needs lifting? Joseph's your guy. Restaurant floor not up to your standards? He'll sweep it until it shines. Joseph's passion for seeing a job well done is evident in every task he undertakes, a trait he proudly demonstrates at Blaze Burgers, where he has earned paid shifts assisting with portioning and cleaning.

Hobbies
Joseph is a kind young man who has an appreciation for equally gentle pursuits. He loves listening to relaxing music, with Coldplay holding a consistent high spot on his playlist.
He also likes doing yoga, skiing and acting in drama classes.
Joseph loves dogs, and they love him back because he's so gentle with them.
And you might be surprised, but Joseph also really enjoys sweeping! He finds it satisfying and calming.

Social Enterprise
Joseph enjoys working in our social enterprise, especially performing repetitive tasks like packaging, sorting, and assembly. He takes pleasure in his duties for SWISSBO and The Good Chocolatier.
Additionally, Joseph has a passion for painting, using fast, sharp brush strokes to create unique pieces of art. One of his paintings was featured in the Blue Edition of our handmade magnets.

Employment Program
Joseph is a valued employee whom the PASS Employment Program takes pride in. His work experience includes restocking shelves and bins at NADA Zero Waste Grocery. After Sweetery Cafe closed, where Joseph was performing cleaning tasks, he transitioned to a paid position at Blaze Burgers. There, he not only helps with cleaning but also portions the food and restocks supplies. Additionally, Joseph volunteers at Mount Pleasant Neighborhood House, where he sets up dinning hall and serves food to seniors.

Joseph always does his best to excel at work (which he does), and he ensures that his job coaches have faith in him (yes, you “got it! Joseph”).
However, there are times when Joseph can finally relax and release the everyday pressures and challenges. One such occasion is during PASS annual trips to Playland.
Joseph loves the rides, especially the swings; the higher, the faster, the scarier… the better. He is the first in line for "The Beast," and while others may have had their fill, Joseph is just getting started!
