Ariel

Part of her world

Ariel is a vibrant and sociable young woman who continuously surprises and impresses those around her.

Whether she's volunteering at Saint Paul's Hospital, neighborhood houses, or walking dogs for our clients, Ariel always works with a smile on her face and a song on her lips. It doesn't matter to her whether the tasks she performs are part of paid employment or a volunteering position.

Knowing that her job coaches and employers recognize, appreciate, and are proud of her efforts is all that Ariel needs to thrive at work.

We are very proud of you Ariel!

  • Hobbies

Ariel loves music; her headphones are always within reach, allowing her to take a quick musical break anytime she needs it. She especially enjoys music videos with lyrics displayed, so that she can sing along.

Yet, Ariel's interests extend far beyond music. She enjoys slumber parties, yoga and parties.

Recently, she uncovered a newfound passion for camping. Here's to embarking on numerous adventures into the wilderness!

  • Social Enterprise

Ariel is a trainee at PASS Marketplace, and she's not just any trainee; she's a wonderful addition to our team, and we thoroughly enjoy working alongside her.

She enjoys sorting jewelry for SWISSBO and packaging chocolate bars for The Good Chocolatier. She is also a great help during the winter candle production.

Ariel's face lights up with a smile, and she claps her hands every time she's praised for her excellent work, which she truly deserves.

  • Employment Program

Ariel has been volunteering for Frog Hollow Neighborhood House since 2013! Her duties include cleaning, packaging, and sorting materials, performing simple office-related tasks, and tending to the community garden by planting and watering.

Additionally, she is a dedicated volunteer at St. Paul's Hospital, working at the clothing depot where she washes, sorts, and folds laundry.

On top of all that, she's one of our awesome dog walkers.

Pretty wild, huh?

Those who know Ariel also know that she once recorded a single.

The song, titled "Puffer Fish," boasts an energetic beat inspired by Ariel's contagious laughter as she observed people attempting to imitate the puffer fish by puffing up their cheeks.

Released in 2018, it's become a favorite tune among our team, a real banger with catchy, funny lyrics.

Some of our favorites include "OMG, did you see? How many fish in the sea? So many fish! I think it’s…3! Probably…" and "pretty wild, huh?" We just can't get enough of it!
