Chris’ Place of Happiness

Chris is the artistic talent behind some of the most beautiful artworks featured in our products. His passion for painting is palpable; one could easily imagine him happily painting day in and day out.

Beyond his natural talent, Chris possesses an unwavering dedication to his craft, striving for perfection in every stroke and detail. Every task he undertakes is executed with care and precision.

There's a gracefulness to his work, as he tends to synchronize his breathing with the movements of each task, almost as if engaged in a unique form of dance. Working alongside Chris is akin to observing a performance, one that brings joy not only to him but to all those fortunate enough to witness it.

    Chris loves art and the tranquility that creating art brings.
    He has been creating art since he was two years old.
    Although Chris underwent a formal training in oil painting, his favorite medium are markers.

    Among Chris’ other interests are swimming, roller-skating and music, as he works on his voice and takes piano lessons.

    Chris thrives when dedicating himself to repetitive tasks that demand focus and precision.
    He particularly enjoys assembly tasks, labeling, and cutting with scissors, activities he can perform for hours and still enjoy.

    Additionally, Chris has a passion for painting, producing some of our most beautiful art featured on PASS Marketplace’s candles, magnets, and greeting cards.

  • Employment Program

    Representing PASS Employment
    Program, Chris had been volunteering at the Canucks Autism Network and the BC Cancer Foundation. His responsibilities included sorting, counting, and assembly, among others.
    Additionally, he worked at a flower shop, where he found enjoyment in cutting, arranging, and wrapping flowers.

    Chris consistently exhibited diligence and dedication whenever he took on a task.

The journey, not the destination

Chris is a man who pursues perfection with unparalleled dedication.

Some years ago, he decided to draw a picture of one of his friends using a set of markers. With painstaking attention to detail, he meticulously strives to achieve a perfect likeness, line by line. Despite the passing of several years and the use of countless markers, Chris continues to dedicate 10 minutes of his time each day to create new versions of that picture.

As a result, the PASS collection now holds hundreds of copies.
