Hand Embroidered Wedding Gown

CA$500.00

Amazing! Stunning! Spectacular! and Oh! so VINTAGE!

This gown, custom made in 1968 by the famous Aureo R. Alonzo, a Filipino fashion designer and couturier known as the “prince of Philippine haute couture” is a true gem!

FUN FACT: “Alonzo has presented his work in international fashion shows and competitions, having been the only Filipino and Asian to win the Camel Award of International High Fashion in Cervinia, Italy in 1975. To win this award against an all European field, he had to design, cut, sew and finish a dress before a panel of judges, which included Yves Saint Laurent”. (by: pineappleind.com)

The gown features intricate hand embroidery with beautiful gems. It includes a stunning train embellished with matching handmade appliqués.

Train Measurements:

  • Length: 13 ft

  • Width (widest end): 3.8 ft

  • Width (narrow end): 1.9 ft

Dress Measurements:

  • Length: 4.85 ft

  • Armpit to armpit (flat): 1.45 ft

  • Hips (flat): 1.7 ft

For additional measurements or inquiries, please contact us at agata.m@passadultservices.ca.

Condition: AS IS

This is a vintage gown and shows signs of age, including discoloration, stains, and some damage (the zipper is stuck). It will require significant restoration to return it to its original beauty. However, the appliqués are in excellent condition, and with the right owner, this gown has the potential to shine once again!
