Visit at Global News

This December, PASS Marketplace was contacted by Jeremy Hunka, a former television journalist now focused on promoting the work of non-profit organizations across various channels.

Jeremy generously offered to include PASS Marketplace in a series of TV segments aired on Global News BC, which highlight social enterprises in BC that create products perfect for Christmas gifts or holiday souvenirs.

Not only did our small social enterprise get featured on TV, but a team of our amazing members: Tanya, Casey and J.A. were also invited to the Global News filming studio to watch the segment being filmed, as well as the news and weather portions.

We were then given a tour of the Global News studios, where Mark Madryga, Global BC’s Chief Meteorologist, let us try reading the news from the teleprompter and experience the magic of the newsroom.

It was a wonderful experience that we will never forget.
