Tanya Leads Candle-Making Workshop

The holiday season has never been busier, but PASS members are embracing new challenges. Easter Seals presented us with an exciting opportunity, and we gladly accepted.

Easter Seals BC & Yukon is a trusted, established charity that creates opportunities and provides tools to help children and adults with disabilities navigate life’s challenges while building self-esteem, self-confidence, and independence.

Easer Seals invited PASS members to their office to lead a candle-making workshop for their staff as part of their holiday events.
While we had never done this before, we were encouraged by Enara, a former PASS employee and now a team member at Easter Seals, who invited us to participate.

At the event, we were represented by: Tanya, our skilled candle-maker, and Allison, a “spoke-member” for our program.

Tanya guided the attendees in designing their own candles, adding scents, colors, and decorating them with dried flowers and herbs. While the wax melted, Allison demonstrated how to make shower steamers.

We’re confident that we could organize more workshops like this in the future, so if you're hosting an event, consider having us teach you and your team something new!
