Ali’s First Volunteering Experience with PASS

Yesterday Ali had his very first volunteering shift at the Burnaby Hospice Thrift Store, and what an impressive start it was! Now he is a part of BHTS-team alongside David and Thomas.

During his shift, Ali was tasked with a variety of tasks, beginning with calling the elevator and moving donation bins up and down to ensure that the store was well-stocked. Ali then moved on to helping load and unload donation bins.

Ali was also greeting customers who came to the store. His friendly and welcoming demeanor put a smile on customers’ faces, adding a warm touch to their shopping experience.

While it was his first shift, Ali quickly demonstrated that he’s not only capable but also enthusiastic about volunteering. We can’t wait to see all the wonderful contributions he will continue to make.

Well done, Ali, and congratulations on a fantastic first shift!
