We’ve Got Those Life Skills Covered!
At PASS, we are dedicated to helping our students develop crucial adaptive life skills that promote independence and confidence. One of our program focuses is teaching practical skills that are vital for everyday living, including:
Budgeting: Students learn how to manage money, plan budgets, and make informed financial decisions, preparing them for financial independence.
Shopping: We help our members practice creating shopping lists, comparing prices, and making smart purchasing decisions, all of which enhance their ability to shop independently.
Cooking: Our hands-on cooking lessons empower program members to prepare simple, nutritious meals, giving them the confidence to take charge of their own nutrition.
Cleaning & Recycling: From tidying up living spaces to doing household chores, we ensure that PASS members gain the skills needed to maintain a clean and organized environment.
Laundry: Members also practice doing laundry, from sorting clothes and operating the washing machine and dryer to folding, equipping them with essential self-care skills.
Through these essential life skills, our program helps our members build a foundation for greater independence and success in their daily lives. We are proud to support them as they grow and thrive in a supportive and inclusive environment.
