We did an Art-standing job!
This October, PosAbilities once again invited us to celebrate art and inclusion by showcasing our work alongside dozens of talented artists with diverse abilities at the Yaletown Roundhouse.
For two days, PASS proudly presented paintings by our talented members: Tanya, Alison, Fraser, Chris, J.A. and Trevor, as well as PASS Marketplace custom gifts, candles, and art prints.
Teams from both PASS program locations came out to support their friends and admire the amazing variety of artwork on display.
A huge thank-you goes to Alison, Melissa, Gabby, and J.A., who volunteered to run our table and manage sales throughout the event. J.A. and Alison also stepped up as greeters, welcoming all guests with smiles, while Thomas and Terence made up the catering team, keeping everyone happy with coffee, tea, and trays of canapés and snacks. They all did an absolutely art-standing job! We couldn’t be prouder!
Special recognition goes to Alison, who worked tirelessly both evenings, selling art, sharing information about our program, and making a wonderful impression on everyone she met. On top of all that, she took part in the PosAbilities scavenger hunt and — great news — won the contest!
It was a fantastic event filled with creativity, teamwork, and community pride. What a wonderful celebration of art and inclusion!
