PASS Prepares for the 18th Annual Imagine… Gala for Autism
As we approach one of the most significant events of the year, PASS is excited to be part of the 18th Annual Imagine… Gala for Autism!
This special event is more than just a fundraiser; it’s a celebration of our collective efforts to support autistic children and young adults, ensuring they have access to the therapies and programs they deserve. Each year, this incredible gathering unites passionate volunteers, advocates, and supporters, all working toward a common goal: making a meaningful difference in the lives of the wonderful individuals connected through PALS and PASS.
PASS Members Come Together for a Collective Effort
PASS members have been working diligently behind the scenes to ensure the success of the gala. This year, we’re particularly excited to share that we are packaging the sweet giveaways generously donated by Huer. Our team has been busy, ensuring that each item is beautifully packaged and ready for presentation at the event. We couldn’t be prouder of their dedication and attention to detail in completing this task.
Take a look at some photos below to see our team in action, ensuring consistency and immaculate packaging of the candy giveaways that will be featured at the event.
A Priceless Masterpiece on Canvas by “PASS Fantastic Four”
This year, we are also thrilled to present a stunning collaborative piece of art that will be auctioned at the event. Fraser, Tanya, Oshen and Chris came together to paint a beautiful and vibrant painting that captures the bustling energy of Granville Street. Fraser, who loves music and is a big fan of ABBA, sketched the painting and included the marquee that reads "ABBA Coming Soon." We then used a projector to transfer the drawing onto the canvas, making sure the original design stayed the same. Tanya’s favorite part was freehand painting the Canadian flag. Chris enjoyed experimenting with colors while listening to classical music. Oshen carefully finished the painting, ensuring no space was left unpainted.
We were impressed by this collaboration, and it brought us great joy to see how much fun the artists had as their creation took shape into a final Art-standing piece.
You can catch a glimpse of the artists at work in the photos below, showcasing their dedication to bringing this vision to life.
PASS Artist Tanya Contributes to the Gala’s Auction
PASS artist Tanya has made a significant contribution to the gala’s auction. In addition to the Granville Street piece, Tanya has created three beautiful new paintings that will be available for bidding during the event.
"Bridal and Bushes" and "I Love Disco" are two paintings inspired by the Saturday Night Fever theme of the gala, capturing iconic scenes from the famous film. "Such a Nice Cat... Meow" adds a fun and quirky twist, featuring a cat on a disco ball—because… everyone love cats! And who could resist a cat spinning on a disco ball? So be sure to place your bid!
But that’s not all—Tanya also created an additional piece for the gala’s honoree: a colorful disco balls painting.
Take a peek at Tanya’s artistic process in the photos below, and don’t be shy to bid on these cool pieces at the gala.
