PASS It On!

We are thrilled to share with you our idea for launching our very own vintage store! As we get ready to open our doors, we’re calling on you—our amazing PASS family—to help us bring this dream to life by donating clothes and fashion accessories for our store, which we plan to call “PASS-It-On!” (it is still a “working name”).

Our goal is to curate a collection of high-quality, stylish pieces that will shine in our store. Whether you have vintage treasures or chic accessories tucked away in your closet, we want to give them a second life and showcase them in our shop!

How Can You Contribute?

We kindly ask that you preselect your items before dropping them off at our location (PASS-Vancouver or PASS Burnaby) to help us stay organized. Due to space limitations, we request that only items in good condition—free from wear and tear—be donated.

Luxury Accessories Welcome!

If you have any luxury accessories like handbags, jewelry, or scarves that you're ready to part with, we would love to include them in our collection!

Empowering Our Members

But here's the really exciting part—this store isn’t just about selling items. It's an incredible opportunity for our program members to engage in meaningful, hands-on work. They will be sorting, organizing, pricing, labeling, and displaying the donated items. They'll also be involved in washing, folding, hanging, and ironing the clothing, using the life skills they practice in our program.

In addition, our members will take part in the store's daily operations: managing inventory, interacting with customers, and making sales. It’s a fantastic chance for them to practice social skills and customer service, all while working in a fun and supportive environment.

We Need Your Help!

As we prepare to open our store, we still have a few things to figure out. We’re currently looking for the perfect location in Vancouver—ideally central, where we can draw in customers and become a go-to destination for vintage lovers. If you have any ideas, we’d love to hear from you!

We are also in need of a POS (point-of-sale) system for the store. If anyone in our community owns a business or has access to a POS machine that they could donate, it would be a huge help and deeply appreciated!

What Happens to Items We Don’t Sell?

We’re committed to sustainability and giving back. Any items that we decide not to sell in our store will not go to waste. Instead, they’ll be donated through an initiative led by our program members. This is an incredible opportunity for them to practice decision-making and learn about giving back to the community.
