PASS goes to the Job Fair

PASS Burnaby crew was excited to participate in the WorkBC Burnaby 2026 Inclusive Hiring Fair!

Our members attended this engaging career event on Thursday, February 19, 2026 at the Nikkei National Museum & Cultural Centre in Burnaby.

The purpose of the Inclusive Hiring Fair was to connect job seekers with local employers who value diversity and inclusive hiring practices. The event brought together 20+ companies from a variety of industries, offering our members a chance to explore job opportunities, learn about different workplaces, and engage directly with recruiters and employers committed to inclusive employment.

The day began with a dedicated hour for people with disabilities, followed by general admission for all candidates until 3:00 p.m.

Our members visited employer booths, introduced themselves to representatives, practiced their networking skills, and exchanged resumes. It was a valuable experience for many to build confidence in professional settings and gain insight into the skills and qualities employers are looking for.

We are proud of our members for their enthusiasm and participation. Events like the WorkBC Burnaby Inclusive Hiring Fair help create meaningful connections and support our community in taking steps toward employment success.
