Career day 2023

PASS Vocational Work Skills teams had the pleasure of welcoming Liam from Keyway Construction, who generously shared his expertise and experiences from construction sites across Canada.

PASS members thoroughly enjoyed listening to Liam’s stories and were eager to ask questions, learning about the day-to-day challenges and rewards of a career in construction. To make the experience even more hands-on, the members had the chance to try out some of the tools!

In addition to Liam’s personal insights, the teams also watched a presentation and videos prepared by Kimmy and Liam, which offered valuable information about the construction industry. The group engaged in discussions about both the best and most challenging aspects of working as a construction worker, as well as important safety measures on construction sites.

It was an enriching and interactive experience, and we’re proud to have provided our members with a closer look at this exciting career path. We look forward to more successful events like this in the future!
