PASS Volunteers at Food Stash Foundation

As some of you may know, PASS is located next door to the wonderful organization Food Stash Foundation.

Food Stash is a registered charity that collects over 130,000 pounds of food each month that would otherwise go to waste. They deliver to 35 charity partners, provide Rescued Food Boxes to 110 households, and serve an average of 101 Rescued Food Market members weekly.

Some of our PASS members volunteer for Food Stash when their help is needed.

This November, we sent a large team on a special mission to assist with multiple delivery orders. Each Rescued Food Box had to be filled with produce from a recipient’s personalized list, ensuring that food restrictions were followed and that the produce was suitable for rescue and delivery.

Our team did a fantastic job, and many people received their orders on time! It feels so good to do good!
